The membership of the VSA is open to all students; including university students (WO), students of universities of applied sciences (HBO) and Vocational Education and Training students (MBO).
Furthermore, other people that are interested in becoming a member but are not a student, are welcome as a friend of the association.
You do not have to live a vegan of vegetarian lifestyle to be able to join, everyone is welcome! Our current member are a mix of people who are fully vegan, recently became vegetarian or maintain a flexitarian lifestyle.
If you would like to become a member or a friend of the association, you have a few options:
Our annual membership subscription costs only 20 euros for the entire year, so untill August of the next academic year.
You can also choose to become a member for half a year, this membership subscription costs 12.50 euro and you will be a member for one academic semester. If you would like to extend your membership you can opt for a second semester and change to an annual membership. You’ll only have pay 7.50 euro for the second semester. Please inform the board if you do so.
If you would like to join but are tight on money for any reason, please email the board (vsatilburg@gmail.com) to inform them would like to join. Just transfer the amount of money that you can afford and we’ll ad you to the groupchat.
Long story short:
- Full membership: 20 euro
- Half a year membership: 12.50
- Extending to a year after: 7.50
- Pay what you are able: please contact the board to be added

1. Building a Community:
– Gain access to social events that we organize, including potlucks, drinks, pub quizzes, and more.

2. Providing Education
– Gain access to educational events that we organize, including lectures, workshops, screenings, and more.
– Learn more scientific and factual information about the negative consequences of the animal industry and learn new information.

– By collaborating with universities restaurants, and supermarkets in our city we aim to create an environment where it is easy, affordable, and enjoyable to choose plant-based options.
– As a member, you get a membership card providing you with countless discounts at restaurants in Tilburg!

Student Members:
Current (and past) students of universities, universities of applied sciences Vocational Education and Training can become student members!
Student members receive a membership card and can use of our discounts with local businesses in Tilburg, talk to other members using our group chats, and take part in our educational- and social events!
Are you no longer a student? If you were a student in the past year you can still become a student member!
Friends of the Association:
Are you not a student but you would still like to be a part of our association? You can become a friend of the association!
A friend has almost all of the same benefits as a student member, including being able to use our discounts with local businesses in Tilburg, taking part in our events, and using our group chats! The only thing a friend cannot do is vote in our General Assemblies.
