Did you know we have 2 committees that help us run the VSA? And did you know you can join them?
You can become an active member in our Content Committee or our Social Committee! Scroll through each committee description and click the ‘join’ buttons to get started.
Content Committee
The Content Committee (CoCo) researches information on veganism, sustainability or anything relevant and designs a post, reel, and other forms content around it using the platform Canva. Additionally, they are the ones designing event announcements, vegan mensa menus and printables like flyers, posters and the membership cards as well.
In our committee meetings, we discuss what content we might want to make for the upcoming month, and who wants to research/design it.
You can choose to make designs, just research, or do both!

Some examples of things our Content Committee researches and designs:
- “A guide to thrift shopping”
- “Did you know this product is vegan?”
- “Simple Sunday Switch”
The committee can also be involved in designing slides for educational events, like lectures. They try to make it as notable and informative as possible, and work together with the Event Committee on this.
The heads of this committee is Milou, and the weekly time investment is around 4 hours per week (including meetings). Of course, you are also allowed to join if you’re not vegan!
Social Committee
The Social Committee (SoCo) facilitates our members with fun and inspiring activities, which helps building a community. They organize social events from start to finish, and make sure we all have a great time while attending.
Members can also try themselves out in designing the event announcement posts.
When you’re in the Social Committee, you will be in contact with other associations or businesses we collaborate with.

Some examples of things the Social Committee has organized:
- Yoga Workshop
- Potlucks
- Lectures on animal rights and sustainability
- Boardgame nights
- Collabs between various local plant-based, veganism or sustainability related organisations
The weekly time investment is around 4 hours per week (including meetings). Of course, you are also allowed to join if you’re not vegan!
