Who doesn’t like poke bowls? There are endless possibilities, and you can add any veggies and protein you prefer. But just in case you would like some inspiration, here we have a nice poke bowl recipe!

Serves: 4 people*
*Servings are different from person to person, this is just an estimate.


  • 300gr basmati rice, or any rice you like
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 3tbs maple syrup, or any other sweet syrup
  • 3tbs soy sauce
  • 3tbs vegetable oil
  • 30gr mushrooms
  • 160gr mango
  • 250gr cherry tomatoes
  • 1/3 cucumber
  • 200gr corn
  • Some pomegranate seeds and walnuts
  • Some black peper & paprika powder

Step 1:
First off, prepare the marinade. Mix the garlic, maple syrup, soy sauce, oil , soy sauce, pepper and paprika powder. Whisk them together and let it rest in the fridge for about 30 minutes.

Step 2:
Boil the rice according to the package instructions.

Step 3:
Slice the toppings: the mushrooms, mango, tomatoes and the cucumber.

Step 4:
In this step you can also lightly roast the walnuts if you like them that way. Also fry the mushrooms, after 3 minutes you can add the marinade you made in step 1. When all the mushrooms are properly covered in the marinade, you can remove the pan from the stove.

Step 5:
Assemble, and enjoy! 🙂
